Outreach Programs

This timing will allow us to complete the course a week prior to the Easter Holiday. Each of the nine classes begins with a video by Dave Ramsey and one of his staff followed by a discussion facilitated by Mac McDonald. These class discussions are extremely useful in sharing the experiences and questions of participants. You can learn more about FPU by visiting their Website Online. For those of you that have taken FPU anytime previously, FPU has been updated recently with new and current information.

PURPOSE/GOAL: Help participants find financial peace; eliminate debt, save for future events like college for children; develop and live by budgets; understand the various types of insurance and investments; plan for the future; etc.

Feeding the Needy

Every month a member of our congregation volunteers to make a meal for the needy. Who ever volunteers also helps serve the meal on the first Sunday of the month over at Pete's Pets. This congregation has been involved in this ministry for many years and it is a blessing to our Congregation and to the Community.

Manna Bags

Every Year we put together non perishable food bags for the needy. The bags usually include water, canned food, gum, chapsticks, and other information about programs that are available. We encourage people to keep these bags handy in their car to give out to people in need.

Children's Home Support

On the 1st Sunday of every month we take up a special contribution for three of New Mexico's Children's Homes that we support.

Manuelito Navajo Children's Home

New Mexico Christian Children's Home

Albuquerque Christian Children's Home

Liberia Missions Support

We currently help support a couple, Daniel and Elsie Sackey, in Liberia. Their beginning new works in South Eastern Liberia.
