The Santa Fe Church of Christ - Youth Group
Meeting weekly Sundays 9:30am & Wednesdays 6:30pm
Other Monthly Meet Ups Click Here

As with all of the other classes, we follow the same Bible based curriculum. It is important that our youth understand that the Bible is still just as relevant in their lives today. We encourage these students to read God's Word, memorize scripture and be an example to the younger students in our congregation. We want to encourage them to lead by example and learn through service projects, how to care for others and be more others focused.

Activities and Service Projects:

  • We have monthly devotional nights.

  • The youth group feeds the needy twice a year (April and August).

  • Travel to Youth Retreats around New Mexico and Texas including: Fabulous 13 in Las Cruces, Spiritual Explosion in Albuquerque, Encounter LE in Lubbock and a Spring Break Retreat in Glorieta.

  • We offer a free week of camp at Pine Springs Christian Camp each summer for all our youth.

  • VBS includes a youth group class each year with a guest teacher.

  • Service Projects or YOLO (Youth Out Loving Others) Projects include cookie fundraisers for the children's homes, helping with Mother's and Father's Day gifts for our church family, a Fall Festival in October, and other Service Projects each month.

  • Along with Service Projects we also like to treat our youth group to some fun events like bowling, Isotopes Baseball Games, Annual Christmas Party and a New Year's Eve Party.

Our goal is to help these students grow in their relationship with God, each other and the community. We strive to create an environment of unity, service, and a place where they can feel at home, they can know they are loved, wanted and that God has a purpose for their lives. We believe serving God should bring joy and laughter and a love for others in all we do. As they graduate we pray they will always lean on God's Word for guidance in their life and that life is better when you have a relationship with the Heavenly Father.
